Especially in the "-omics" fields, using tools from network and systems theories. For instance, check out http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0378874112000682Guido Mase'https://www.blogger.com/profile/08186818316201584509noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5738694062065682753.post-5756069376100057682013-11-25T16:42:13.207-05:002013-11-25T16:42:13.207-05:00Hi, I just wanted to throw some positive energy yo...Hi, I just wanted to throw some positive energy your way, because you've been a huge inspiration for me in recent months: finished wild medicine solution and
I've been slowly incorporating some of those ideas into my life. I've been searching for someone who knows how to combine a rational and intuitive perspective when it comes to plants, respecting tradition while appreciating scientific insight (within its context and limitations). So thanks for your awesome output! You've provided tons of resources within that book and this blog especially.

A question as well: I'm a young, aspiring herbalist/healer trying to find my own path in the vast world. I interned with a doctor of Chinese medicine and fell in love with the science of Chinese herbalism, but I'm also fascinated with pharmacology, biochemistry, and all the insights of western biomedicine. Any thoughts on how to integrate these pursuits? These two worlds are so separated by ideology and perspective, it's challenging to explain why both are legitimate (and irreducible to one another). Let me know, and thanks again for all your work! You are an inspiring leader in an important time.
